I had to tilt my neck to the side and go “really?”
Pepsi and Coca Cola Japan are scheduled to release their new interesting flavors.
Pepsi Shiso (!) and Coca Cola Green Tea with Catechin
Hmm, came to think of it, Shiso is actually used to make a syrup. (Granma’s recipe!) I can sort of guess what it’d taste like.
Just like I did for Kitkat previously, I googled and searched for the history of Fanta. It’s quite fun discovering and remembering these flavours from the past! Here’s the current Japanese Fanta. What the hell is FuruFuru Shaker & Frozen Fanta?!
Fanta seems to have the widest range of flavours all over the world – each country has its own range of flavors. I remember that Billy had made me try some weird tasting one from Australia…. I can’t remember what it was… Orange Chocolate cream soda… or something?
We had some other interesting flavored sodas in the past like Coca Cola Blak (Coffee), Coca Cola Lemon, Pepsi Blue, Pepsi Cucumber, etc. Have you had other interesting flavours??

I love seeing the different variations of junk food all over the world although Japan’s Kit Kat versions are my favourite. The Fanta with jelly bits sounds interesting!
I remember seeing all these flavours for Twisties in Singapore years ago. I had to try them of course
They tasted pretty much like the cheese ones but slightly off and weren’t quite as nice.
I like all the random kit kat flavours, I think I had chilli and wasabi when I was in Tokyo!

Different flovoured Twisties sounds interesting! Aw I’ve got to admit that I have a thing for ‘variations’, and I guess that’s why I love Macaroons – I want to get all flavours in one huge box!

OMG, chilli and wasabi?! Kitkat Japan does all these ‘limited season’ or ‘limited area’ only products that make me want to get. Evil marketing strategy!
Shiso! Wow. I am infinitely intrigued! I love shiso (Chinese call it chiso which roughly translates to purple herb) but shiso coke? Wish there was somewhere that sold it here so I could taste it for myself.
I love random Asian flavours. Everytime I’m in Asia or transiting a Asian airport I stock up on strange foods and flavours that you can’t get here. The last thing I had was pizza flavoured beef jerky cubes. Tasted like what I imagine cat food would. It’s hit and miss.

Hahaha Cat food eh? (But I’ve got to say, some commercial for cat food in a can – sometimes they looks too gourmet that it almost looks like a entree dish LOL)
紫蘇！ I love the fact that Japanese adapted Chinese characters – it’s easy for us to *guess* what’s on menus LOL
shiso? It’s almost the Japanese selected this one just for the shock and awe value.
